Dinner with Richie McCaw

Yes, it is true - but only by accident!
Sue & I were dining out at one of our favourite Japanese restaurants, the Osaka Restaurant, in Botany Junction when who should walk in - none other than All Black Captain, Richie McCaw, with his then girlfriend, Hayley Holt. Sue found out later that Hayley left the next day for her 5 month stint on the UK version of Dancing with the Stars.
I managed to dissuade Sue from asking Richie for a photo (to give him some peace) but next week we found out that our favourite waitress had managed to score the one below.
I have to report that a couple of other diners did ask Richie for a photo and he was amazingly tolerant and very gracious. I'm not so sure I would have been if I was interrupted during my last dinner for 5 months with my gf!
Good on you, Richie - you're awesome!
