These are temporary apartments more than hotel rooms, complete with washer and dryers, a small kitchen, and other homey options. The coolest thing was all the energy saving features built in. like hall lights that only turn on when there is someone in the hall and appliances that turn off when you close and lock the front door. This caused a slight problem when we left the washer running when we left one day. It turned off after we shut the door. This is one of the finer, affordable, New Zealand accomodations.
