There are far too many golf courses in New Zealand to name them all here, so, I have chosen to name only the top courses. All of these courses have the Qualmark endorsement. To receive a Qualmark endorsement, golf resorts have to meet stringent requirements that cover every detail from the condition of the course and the facilities, to a Code of Ethics that requires, for example, courses to 'recognise the right of the customer to courteous, prompt, and honest service'.

Cape Kidnappers-Ranked 27th Best Golf Course in the world by Golf Magazine.

Carrington Resort-Located on the Karikari peninsula, near Kaitaia, this course features an ocean view, tournament quality, 18 hole course.

Gulf Harbour- The Gulf Harbour Country Club course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, arguably the worlds finest designer of classic golf courses. It is set against the spectacular backdrop of the Hauraki Gulf.

Lakes Resort- located in beautiful Puaunui on the Coromandel Peninsula

Wairakei Golf Course-Located in the heart of the North Island and set amongst the spectacular scenery of the Lake Taupo region.

Clearwater Resort-Located minutes from Christchurch this par 72 championship course is home to the HSBC NZ PGA Championship. Designed by John Darby in consultation with New Zealand golfing legend, Sir Bob Charles, the course combines elements of links golf inspired by the great Scottish courses with parkland golf, more reminiscent of Florida.
